I’m a strong believer in the power of trousers.
I think they can really change your whole look and I’ll often build my outfit around a pair. And these are no exception.
I paired the trousers with a simple white cropped tee from Topshop which is a perfect fit and style. Accessories wise I always wear two silver bracelets, one a Tiffany’s from my 18th birthday and the second a charm bracelet with a single charm of my Dad’s fingerprint. I also have a fair few piercings which I always wear – all of which are silver too.
So to tie it all together I wore a silver necklace which I like to think is a thin crescent moon. I also wore a pair of ASOS fake round ray bans which I’m not totally convinced by yet. I’m always unsure if sunglasses suit my face, but they look good on the top of my head at least, so there’s that!
When browsing through ASOS one day, it was love at first sight. The trousers of my dreams. Super comfortable, you could be wearing pj bottoms. A tie waist – my go to trouser style. Pockets. Pink yet leg legenthing thanks to the stripes. And full length. Usually I’m a bit of an ankle basher girl, but these are perfect for days when the weather’s not great but you still want to look good. For example this day was dark and gloomy, threatening rain every minute. These are 100% my favourite piece from my wardrobe at the minute.
No casual millennial outfit would be complete without a pair of trainers. Mine are a recent purchase which I love from Adidas. The pink contrasts well with the trousers. And I love to match my tops with my shoes – e.g. the white – to bring the outfit together. These are sadly not as bright white anymore lol, but what can you do!
As well as this I wore an old Topshop fringe backpack which I bought in the online sale for £15!!! I also didn’t realise it’s real suede until it arrived. I’m not sure how I feel about that, but it’s lasted really well and hopefully will continue to!
So that’s the look! And I thought what better way to end the post than with some iPhone insta worthy photos.
So there we go!
I hope you enjoyed this post. Fashion is something I don’t know much about. I just wear what I like and hope you like it too! But if you don’t, oh well hahah. If you want to read more into my style, I wrote a summer asos wishlist which you might like to read – here.
Thank you for reading,
